London Academy of Trading (LAT) is pleased to announce that it has been shortlisted across two categories for the EducationInvestor Awards 2020 – ‘Private Tutoring Company’ and ‘Skills Provider of the Year’.
LAT’s nomination in the ‘Private Tutoring Company’ category seeks to recognise institutions that have continued to assist students via online channels and innovative methods throughout a period in which schools and other educational centres have been closed due to social distancing measures.
The ‘Skills Provider of the Year’ category recognises training providers that have pivoted successfully to new methods of delivery amid the pandemic.
The EducationInvestor Awards is one of the biggest and most prestigious accolades in higher education. With more than 145 submissions to this year’s awards, 118 finalists will compete for 22 awards. Finalists will be judged by a panel of high-profile independent judges.
The winners will be announced at the Awards event which will be held virtually on 3 December 2020.
Commenting on the recognition, Paddy Osborn, Academic Dean at London Academy of Trading, said: “We are delighted to be selected as finalists for the EducationInvestors Awards 2020. We’ve been working extremely hard since March to enhance our online delivery with new interactive content for students, and it’s great to see these efforts being recognised. The team is continuing to provide these extra online services, and student feedback has been extremely positive. I’m proud of my team’s performance throughout this difficult period, and we’re thrilled to have made it onto the shortlists for these prestigious awards.”
Now in its eleventh year, the EducationInvestor Awards recognises excellence in UK’s education industry. The competition honours educational institutions, service providers and individuals who in the past twelve months have made a noteworthy impact in the British education system.
